ABOUT THE BOOK: The innocent never waver from doing what’s right, even if it means drowning the world in fire.
Violina had been burned and betrayed by mankind ever since she sprang into existence. They named her a heretic and condemned her to a pit to live and die in agony. Though she sat stranded, starved and bloodied, she would not submit. Violina, the girl who had been mocked and hunted for rejecting the warped ideals of artificial authority, would lay down her own law.
Violina, a girl polarized by love and loathing, finds herself thrown into a post-apocalyptic world with mankind on the brink of extinction. Discovering the means to travel back in time, she teams up with the ever-optimistic, pun-loving Lux and sets out to prevent the apocalypse from ever happening in the first place. But as her crusade advances, she becomes increasingly disgusted by humanity’s apparent lack of humanity and comes to a frightening realization: To build a new world, she must first tear the old one down

MY REVIEW: Before starting, I would like to express my gratitude to V.K. McAllister for giving me an opportunity to review their book.
Let’s just take a moment to appreciate this amazing read. This is definitely one of the most underrated books.
It had one of the most amazing plots. However, I do feel like the pace was a little fast. The whole basic concept of the book is unique and it’ll capture your interest.
The characters were amazing and I wish we could get to know more about them. If you read this book you’ll love them. They’re brave and strong. Also, I feel like the characters were way too positive for the world they lived in. That made the characters a little less real.
Also, the work both the authors have done to made the website for this book is commendable. You all should definitely check it out!
Lastly, I would say, if you want a change in the books you have been reading, you all should definitely check this one out.
*Received a copy of the book from the author in exchange of an honest review.*
